Celebrating cars, coffee & the stories they tell
More than automotive art
Some memories arrive unexpectedly.
A familiar silhouette rolling down the street. The smell of fresh coffee on a quiet morning. A vintage car parked outside a neighborhood café. In an instant, you're transported somewhere meaningful.
That's the inspiration behind Derek Charles Design Studio.
Through automotive photography, original artwork, framed prints, and coffee-themed gifts, I create pieces that celebrate the connection between cars, coffee, and the moments that stay with us long after they've passed.
Where cars and coffee meet
For me, cars have never been just machines.
They are rolling reminders of people, places, and experiences that shaped us. Coffee serves a similar purpose. It slows us down, brings people together, and creates space for reflection.
Every piece I create begins with that intersection.
Whether it's a classic sports car photographed in morning light, a handcrafted coaster inspired by automotive culture, or a framed print designed for a garage, office, home bar, or coffee nook, each design is built around the feeling of nostalgia and appreciation for the details that make life memorable.
